A Patchwork Heart Design

02/16/09 - Patchwork Heart - A simple design using 4 pieces to give the illusion of a patchwork heart. Cut glass out of complimentary colors and use some frit or paints to add your desired accents to the pieces.

Open Valentine Heart and Love Hearts Designs

02/16/09 - Open Valentine Heart - This design is great for using up all of that scrap glass. It is very simple to obtain an open heart without the use of a specialized blade for cutting the glass. Just cut out the two pieces and then overlap them so that the center of the heart remains open.

Love Hearts - This pattern is a take off of the old conversational hearts that we all grew up passing around to all of our school friends. Put a few of the hearts together to design a pin or sprinkle them across a plate or platter and fuse them into place.

The Arrow Through Heart Design

02/14/09 - Arrow Through Heart - Love is in the air and it is time for another new design to add to the Valentine’s Day Pins page. This basic arrow through heart design reminds us of dear cupid as he goes around piercing hearts and to assist in finding true love. This pattern is very simple with just two parts that can be cut utilizing a glass saw and then assembled and fired inside the kiln.
