11/29/09 - Pinecone - The pinecone has many layers of cones that evenly overlap each other. This particular pattern uses fiber paper stabilize and separate the layers. This makes them stand out and keeps them from melting into each other. The fiber paper can be removed and the residue washed off after firing the piece.
