Fancy Egg

04/04/10 - Fancy Egg - What about making a fancy egg for the Easter season. This is a very large full egg shape. Embellish the design with items such as frit, Glassline paints, stringers, etc. The design can be embellished with the large and boastful bow pattern that is included with the egg pattern below.

Adorn this design yourself, or make them for all your Easter friends. Everyone will want to wear this simply elegant pin.

Duck Egg

04/03/10 - Duck Egg - Well Easter is almost here and I am finishing up the patterns for this year. The newest pattern that has been added is this sweet little duck egg design. This pattern is for a cracked egg with a baby duck peeking out of his shell. He looks like he has a quizzical express on his face.

He has two dot eyes and a large orange bill. The eyes are made using pre-fused dots.

The eggshell can be cut out of any color of glass. Adorn the shell with accents such as: Glassline paints, stringer, frit, scrap glass, etc.

Duckface Easter Design

04/02/10 - Duckface - Everybody will go quackie over this new Duckface project. Spring is in the air and it is time for all the sweet infant animals to be born. And then along comes this wacky duck face design. The spring theme seems to be baby ducks and chicks.

This Easter duck is a very basic and simple design to create. The yellow duck head boasts an enormously large platypus type of bill placed in the middle of his ample head. Two dots are use for the eyeballs or cut them out of the pattern below. Uses some Glassline paints to add all the details to the face.

Easter Egg Chicken

04/01/10 - Easter Egg Chicken - This teeny-tiny Easter egg chicken has a brilliant little orange snout, long looney legs, adorned egg body and a couple of suspension orange feet. An Easter egger that is all dressed up for the holiday.

There is a center piece around his abdomen that can be decorate with paints, frit, etc. Apply a few bowed and bent stringers, dots, frit, etc. to adorn and decorate the piece.

I have used pipe cleaners to make the legs on my egger. These were added after firing the piece inside the kiln. They could be made out of curved rods or cut out of glass if preferred.

Easter Egg Nest

03/30/10 - Easter Egg Nest - Your Easter outfit will definitely be complete with this adorable and endearing Easter egg nest. Ok, everyone knows that the Easter bunny doesn't fill nests with eggs, but we still look forward to this part of the celebration.

Add some broken stringers or frit to the nest to add a little dimension and depth. Without embellishments the nest will appear a little bland and flat.

Adorn each of the tiny eggs with some Glassline paints. They can be cut out of scrap glass since they are so petite.

Easter Cross

03/29/10 - Easter Cross - Wow, I can't believe Easter is just around the corner. This is the first Easter pattern for this year. Although depending on the way you design the piece, it could be worn any time.

Embellish the piece with some tiny white lilies and it will definitely be a piece for the Easter holiday. Leave it plain, however and it could be worn anytime of the year. I used Glassline paints to add a design to my piece.

Rabbit Face Design

04/23/09 - Rabbit Face - This is the last project for the Easter Craft page for this year. It is a very simplistic rabbit face pattern that can be enhanced with stringers, dots, frit or even some Glassline paints. Design them in any color, like white, black, pink, dark brown, or tan.

Carrot Craft Design

04/14/09 - Carrot Craft Design - Easter has past for this year, but more designs are being added to the Easter Craft page. This very easy and simple carrot pattern would make a superb Easter pin, but it would also look fantastic fused into a Spring platter for any gatherings with family and friends.

easter-chicks3

04/13/09 - Easter Chicks - Easter is over for this year, but since it is still April, I am continuing to add more pages to the Easter Craft ideas page. This chubby little chick is round like an egg. He has the usual two pointed feet, big round eyes and familiar orange beak. This is really an adoraable design and one of my favorites for Easter…I hope it is one of your favorite designs also.

The Funny Bunny

04/11/09 - Easter Bonnet - Easter is right around the corner, in fact it is tomorrow! I need to wind up all the Easter Craft ideas for this spring holiday. I try to add at least one comical pattern for each holiday. Well, Easter is no different with this funny bunny pattern. It is a very basic bunny pattern, but this particular bunny has very large buck teeth.

Easter Bonnet

04/10/09 - Easter Bonnet - Continuing to heat up the kiln and add more designs to the Easter Craft page. Spring is definitely in the air and there is no better time to fuse a couple of more Easter patterns. This little bonnet is really simple to create with just three tiny layers of circles neatly stacked to give the illusion of a ribbon around the edge. Use some dots or scraps of glass to adorn the hat.

Easter Basket Craft

04/09/09 - Easter Basket Craft - Adding another new pattern to the Easter Craft page. This is a very simple basket design that can be filled with any desired pieces. Try adding some little Easter eggs and a few pieces of frit for grass to enhance the piece. On this example, I have only added two eggs, but your basket can be filled if desired. As with all the designs on this site, the complete pattern is located at the bottom of this page.

Chick and Egg Pattern

04/07/09 - Chick and Egg - The first pattern added this year to the Easter Craft page. So cute and cuddly is this baby chick hatching out of his egg. This early hatching is still sitting inside the shell, and wearing a tiny piece of this shield as a hat. This is a very basic pattern, involving only 3 colors, white for the egg, yellow for the baby chick and orange for the little chick’s beak. Use either a fused dot or Glassline paints to add an eye.
