02/11/10 - Cupid - Cupid, known as Cupido in Latin, which means desire. This easily recognized image makes a great pattern for Valentine’s Day. With his angelical wings on his bare torso, he stands tall with his bow drawn. It of course has a heart shaped dart posed and ready to release. He's ready release this pointy dart into the heart of an unaware male or female to prompt some amatory love.
This silhouette form is engraved into a purple dichroic glass to keep the design in place after firing. The dichroic is back with black glass and it's been capped with a piece of clear glass. This capping give the piece more depth and dimension.
